How Parts Cloud International collects, uses and protects the information you share through partscloudin.com.
Effective September 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Parts Cloud International (“Parts Cloud”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit partscloudin.com or contact us. If you have questions, write to info@partscloudin.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the Partner Intake Form on our Contact page, we collect the information you enter: your full name, job title or role, company name, business email, phone number, primary industry, estimated annual parts spend, the description of the parts you need and your current supply chain challenges, whether your physical samples are ready for inspection, and your preferred language. We also receive the information you include when you email us.
Please do not send drawings, specifications or other confidential technical information through the website form. We exchange that information once a mutual non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is in place.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting servers record standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time of each request. We use these logs to operate and secure the site.
Cookies and third-party services
We do not use advertising cookies. Some services that help run the site may set cookies or receive technical information from your browser:
- Hosting and security. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, may set cookies that protect the site against automated abuse.
- Images. Some photographs are delivered by Unsplash, which receives standard technical information (such as your IP address) when your browser loads them.
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as pages visited and time on site, and it does not tell us who you are. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and review whether a parts program is a fit for your operation.
- To initiate a non-disclosure agreement and prepare a part analysis or proposal.
- To communicate with you about your request in your preferred language.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
How we share information
We share personal information only when it is needed for the purposes above:
- Service providers that host the website and our email, and that process information on our behalf.
- Engineering and manufacturing partners in Central America and Asia, limited to what they need to evaluate or produce your parts, and under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements, when we must respond to a lawful request or protect our rights.
Because our manufacturing partners are located outside the United States, some information may be processed in other countries. We share only what is necessary and protect it under confidentiality agreements.
Confidentiality of your parts and data
We work under strict mutual NDAs. Proprietary components and customer data shared under an NDA are handled as set out in that agreement.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you, to manage an active or potential business relationship, or to meet legal and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to personal information to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on the state where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or Utah), you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. To make a request, email info@partscloudin.com. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Links to other websites
Our site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
