From Physical Sample to Scaled Production: Inside Our 4-Step Process

Every Parts Cloud program follows the same sequence, with your approval as the gate between prototype and production. Here is what happens after you send us a sample.

Moving a replacement part to a new supply line should never be a leap of faith. That is why every Parts Cloud program follows the same four steps, with your approval as the gate between prototype and production.

Step 1: Intelligent inventory and demand analysis

We conduct a comprehensive audit of your historical part consumption, seasonality, and turnover rates. By applying intelligent forecasting, we build an accurate annual or quarterly demand model tailored to your business cycles. It shows which parts to prioritize and the volumes your program needs.

Step 2: Sample ingestion and prototype development

You provide a working or master sample. Our engineering and manufacturing partners in Central America and Asia analyze materials, tolerances, mechanics, and, where applicable, electronic architecture and functional requirements to create a high-precision, equivalent production prototype.

Samples not ready yet? You can still start the conversation: the intake form asks whether your physical samples are ready for inspection, not yet ready, or in progress.

Step 3: Sample testing and field approval

We send the initial prototype back to your team for bench testing and real-world validation. Your engineers judge the part in your own equipment, under your own operating conditions. Scaled production does not begin until you sign off.

Step 4: Continuous scaled production and fulfillment

Once approved, your custom production program goes live, feeding directly into your supply chain with agreed safety-stock levels and scheduled dispatches. Parts pass rigorous multi-stage QA/QC inspections before departure.

Where the savings come from

Reducing intermediary layers through direct manufacturing relationships can deliver potential 10% to 30% parts cost savings on qualifying programs, subject to volume and material class, without compromising specifications or material integrity.

Is your operation a fit?

Parts Cloud partners primarily with enterprises managing annual replacement-parts spend of $100,000+ USD. That baseline lets us dedicate custom tooling, offshore line setup, and predictive demand modeling. If your spend is below it, you can still submit your request, and our team will review it.

Next step: request a part analysis. Our engineering and account team reviews submissions within 1 to 2 business days.
